What personal data I collect and why I collect it
Contact forms
When you act smart and sign up to be added to my little black book I will transmit your email address to Mail Chimp which is the company that I use for managing my email lists. (Life is too short to do this myself) When you sign up you will receive a second opt-in email address to confirm your account. If you wish to leave my mailing list (unlikely) then you can either click on the ‘unsubscribe’ links contained in my emails, or email me using the address hello@jellynightmares.com (I love hanging out with you so I’ll be gutted to see you go)
Cookies (yum)
I set a single session cookie when you visit my site so that I can maintain page state during a single browsing session. You are not identifiable from this process and I do not use it to track you after you leave the site. (I only stalk dishy consultants)
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from (inferior) websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. My website is the best though so you’ll probably want to hang out here rather than go to other inferior sites anyway.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
When using the site, I send anonymous tracking data to Google Analytics. It isn’t possible for me to identify you using this data – I only use it so that I know how popular the site is. And believe me, it is VERY popular.
Who we share your data with
No one. I will never share my mailing list or any of my analytics data with third parties. Promise.
How long we retain your data
You will remain in my little black book until you ask to be removed from it (which of course you won’t)
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that we erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
